OUR HISTORY
Relax in Comfort began in 1967. Our company founders, Anthony and Lucy DePaulis acquired “Niagara Cyclo Massage Of Orlando” which was originally founded in Downtown Orlando in 1949; this was the first back care and sleep specialty store in the United States. Orlando police carefully escorted the delivery of a $5,000 gold massage chair, the most expensive in the World at that time, into the downtown Orlando showroom.

OUR JOURNEY
Our own Dan Wall, Relax in Comfort Villages Owner, invented the now famous Flex-Head Adjustable Smart Bed mattress in 2001 while working with Comfortaire. Despite being told it was a "dumb idea that would not sell" he persevered and marketed his flex head mattress design on his own. The Flex-Head Adjustable Smart Bed mattress design can be seen in Sleep Number advertisements. However, ONLY our Flex-Head Adjustable Smart Bed design also allows for Flex-Foot enabling elevation for both the head and feet for each partner. (Sleep Number Flex Head Adjustable Smart Beds requires the foot section to move together- only the head sections elevate individually.)

As a result of our reputation and industry expertise and 50 plus year industry pedigree we were selected as the National Events Team to represent both Panasonic and Select Comfort brands at medical trade shows, consumer home shows and a variety of other industry specific trade shows to include the World's most prestigious trade show, CES held every January in Las Vegas.

The Original Adjustable Smart Bed was produced in 1988 by Craig Miller Sr., then owner of American National MFG. With no less than 4 decades of engineering, we are proud to partner with Instant Comfort. Instant Comfort made adjustable Smart Beds have been rated a "Best Buy" from Consumer Reports magazine and represent a better Adjustable Smart Bed at a better price with a better warranty. We are proud to be associated with the entire Instant Comfort team especially with the launch of the new Opulence & Luxe models in 2024.

In May 2024, we added Osaki Platinum line of massage chairs to our massage chair gallery.
